Brushes Always Without Trails
In some instances, you may want a specific brush to not have trails whenever that
brush is used for drawing. You can attach a trails setting to a brush that is
already loaded (See Brush Attachments).
However, there is a way to automatically disable trails whenever a specific brush
is loaded and used. If the name of the brush starts with the "@" character,
then Vusic will know to always disable trails for that brush whenever it is used
for drawing. Once another brush is chosen, then Vusic will resume whatever trails
setting was active before that special brush was used.
This feature was added on 1/15/2003. The use this feature, you need to update
your copy of Vusic. To do that, go to the update
page.
To edit the brush name, go into the Brushes folder within the Vusic folder
and locate the desired brush. Select the brush name for editing and add the
"@" character to the beginning of the name. Make sure that the length
of the brush name, including the ".bru" extension does not exceed
19 characters. Otherwise the name will not appear within Vusic.
