Fading to Black

To make the gradient fade to black when the sound fades to silence, select the "Black_Base" effect from the Fill Color Effect popup menu in the COLOR SETTINGS Panel. If you want the brush gradient to also fade to black, then select the "Black_Base" effect from the Brush Color Effect popup menu. To make the gradient fade to black as volume INCREASES, select the "Black_ Add" effect instead.

To set the speed of fading, open the SOUND SCALING FADE settings panel and drag the slider to the right. For example, if you want the screen to slowly fade to black during silence, drag the slider to 10 to cause the screen to fade to black over the course of one second.


Fading to Gray

To make the gradient fade to gray when the sound fades to silence, select the "Gray_Base" effect from the Fill Color Effect popup menu in the COLOR SETTINGS Panel. If you want the brush gradient to also fade to gray, then select the "Gray_ Base" effect from the Brush Color Effect popup menu.
