Saving Styles

You can take a snapshot of all current Vusic settings by saving them to a "style." To save a style, select "Save Current..." from the Style popup menu. This style can be loaded from your hard drive at any time to restore those settings.

Note: The settings that are current when the popup is activated are the settings that will be saved, regardless of the fact that the settings may be continually changing.


Loading Styles

To load a style, select a style name from the Style popup menu. Once loaded, the style name will display in the style text box. If the beat counter sliders are not turned off in the newly loaded style, then changes will be triggered according to the new slider positions. If you want a snapshot that has the beat counters turned off, then press the semi-colon key on the keyboard instead of clicking "Save Current..." in the style popup menu.


Keyboard Shortcuts

; (semi-colon) will open the style popup menu to allow you to save the current style (with beat counters set to off). (New feature as of 9/26/01.)
