Holding an Animation

You can hold the current animation and prevent it from being changed by pressing the "Manual" button. In manual mode, the automatic triggering of animation changes is disabled, effectively holding the animation. When manual control is off, you can still manually make changes to the animation. Clicking the manual button again will restore the triggering of animation changes. If a recorded rave is being played, the animation will resume as recorded.

If you wish to preserve the animation on your hard drive, you can save it as a style. Refer to the Style instructions for how to save a style.


Keyboard Shortcuts

H (Hold) will disable the automatic triggering of animation changes, effectively holding the animation. (New feature as of 11/19/01.)
