No Sound from Vusic CD


Windows:

First, make sure your speakers are turned on.
Make sure your volume is turned up and not muted.
Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Multimedia.
Click the CD Music tab.
Make sure that the drive letter of your default CD-ROM drive for playing CD music has not changed.
If the drive letter has changed, select the correct drive letter.
If there is a slider for CD Music Volume, set it to maximum.
Click the Apply button.
Click the Audio tab.
Select the advanced properties button within the playback section.
If there is a volume slider, set it to maximum.
If there is a mute button, deselect it.
Click the Apply button.
Select the advanced properties button within the recording section.
If there is a volume slider, set it to maximum.
If there is a mute button, deselect it.
Click the Apply button.
Click the OK button.
Close Control Panel.


Macintosh:

First, make sure that your volume is turned up and not muted.
Open the SOUND INPUT panel by selecting "Sound Input..." from the Settings popup menu.
Select "Internal CD" from the Current Input popup menu.
If that doesn't work, then try the following:
Open your Macintosh Sound Control Panel.
Make sure that the sound input is set to "Internal CD."
Make sure that "listen" or "playthrough" is turned on.

If the CD doesn't seem to start playing correctly, turn off the Audio CD Autoplay feature.
Open the Quicktime Settings Control Panel and select Autoplay from the popup menu.
Then make sure that the "Enable Audio CD Autoplay" button is unchecked.
